Finally it is possible for me to confirm that Grandmaster Repertoire 3 – The English Opening Volume One by acclaimed author Mihail Marin and Champions of the New Millennium by Ftacnik, Kopec and Browne are set for release on the 9th of September (unless something goes wrong at the last moment).
Both books are up to date, with editing on Champions ending a few weeks ago, and editing on GM Repertoire 3 ending today (although the last chess was added Friday).
You will be able to find excerpts from the books here:

An update on the remaining books will follow next week. Right now I am busy preparing for the four day seminar I am giving at the Quality Chess headquarters Thursday to Sunday this week.

In “Champions of the new Millenium” why don’t yoo put ECO codes in headings of the games. This annoys me very much!
Because we did not find it relevant to the purpose of the book. I do find it amusing that you are greatly annoyed by a product you have so far not spent money on. You are certainly no worse off than if the book did not exist.
I have to say that one of the things I love about Quality books is that you always have the sense you are dealing with flesh and blood human beings rather than a faceless bureaucracy.
Replies like this from GM Aagaard are designed to keep us all on our toes. 🙂
In the Champions of the New Millennium excerpt on page 19, the black bishop should be on c8 instead of g6 I think.
In the diagram after 20. Qe1 of course.
Yes, it appears to be the case. How that happened is quite hard for me to understand, as it is on c8 in the original files. I guess I must have added this mistake to an otherwise flawless book…
I have a brilliant idea!
Since we, the King’s Indian Crew, are “bloodthirsty” we would like to contribute to the project “GM Rpertoire KING’S INDIAN”.
We can collect valuable examples and suggestions on following “desired” book topics:
a) strategical/tactical/endgame motifs
b) best ideas in each variation
c) creating rules of thumbs, for example when to trade queens ore relaese the tension in the cenre
d) historical facts
e) everything else interesting
This would be an ideal sybiosis and most gratfied project I can imagine in chess publishing. You could arange special forum line just for this puropse aned I do relly hope that you will receive many good propositions.
Please do not sack us, us the blockbusters in “bored wasteland of 1d4 move”.

Josif. Thank you for your kind offer, but I am not really a fan of a book written by committee :-). Anyway, we have seen the first chapters for GM Rep on the KID, which we expect will be out in 2011, in two volumes. If we rushed it, we would not be able to produce anything better than Bologan’s recent and decent treatment of the opening, and that would negate the point of publishing a KID book at all.
Remarkable announcement, but it would be even better when you could squeeze in 2010!
I also hope that the writer has Elo 2600++ like our Bologan!
Can you keep up with this?
PS Yes, we Russians like committees 🙂 Because of that we are No1 in the chess world.

Hi,
Very excited for GM Repertoire 3 on the English!! It is the last set I need to complete my opening study.
I know I maybe jumping the gun, but any idea when volume 4 on replies to the English other than …1. e5 will be out? 😀
Some of volume four has been written and corrected, and I know that Mihail has analysed all of the lines extensively. The repertoire is really exciting, I think.
I think December/January is likely.
Great!
Very nice that GM Rep 3 is being released in a week. Any approximations for when GM Rep 5 is released, and how far Ftacnik is on the work?
Waknilg in the presence of giants here. Cool thinking all around!
